I’m an Amherst, Massachusetts based photographer/birder. As of 2022 I’ve photographed over 300 species of birds in Mass and close to 400 species in the US. In my photography I try to capture the incredible detail and beauty of birds. When my subject bird, and its habitat and the available light all harmonize, it’s a thrill to press the shutter! The images on this site represent many of those moments. In taking my prints out on the road to festivals and art fairs, it’s been great meeting and sharing my images with so many bird and nature lovers around New England.
